Reflection session series

Small group, short sessions, massive impact.

Leading leaders is a whole other ball game.

Are you a mid-level leader in healthcare managing a team of leaders, some of whom may be in their first-time leadership role?

Are you scared that they’ll get overwhelmed by the workload and leave, keeping you in an endless recruitment cycle that you can’t break?

Are you worried that they’ll build unhealthy leadership habits that impact their team and you’ll end up working through issue after issue?

They need support, space and time and it’s a real struggle for you to be there for them all and give them the support they deserve. You know that that without that support and development, more and more issues will fall into your lap, the workload and the problem fire-fighting will continue and you’ll never make progress on your great plans.

New leaders often feel alone, isolated and reluctant to come forward with questions. They often work long hours to try and keep on top of all the work and feel pressure to succeed quickly. Providing support to all the people in your team isn’t easy. People need time, and that is what you feel you don’t have.

I’ve been supporting and developing leaders in healthcare for over 20 years and a common thread is the amazing teams I’ve enabled, who feel great about the work they do and empowered to make a difference.

What’s on offer?

A 6-week online reflection series to support and engage your clinical leaders. They’ll feel less isolated, connect and get to know each other and build the healthy habit of reflection.

Reflection is a leadership superpower. Building resilience, learning and wellbeing. People who reflect regularly increase their productivity by 23%. The regular nature of this series builds momentum and the team learns to support and coach each other. Building capacity and capability in one move.

What you get

  • Six 30-minute online sessions, set at a time that suits your team.

  • A confidentional and safe space for your team to connect and build capability together.

  • Each week a different reflection tool is explored and used.

  • A follow-up PDF of the tool for your leader to test in their working week.

  • A weekly summary of key topics, or learning points from each session.

  • A range of tried and tested reflection tools to sustain their reflection practice.

What’s the investment?

The series is delivered via Zoom, one 30-minute session a week.

The investment for up to 12 of your leaders or senior staff is $2120 (+GST).

Additional 1:1 coaching can be arranged at a special price associated with this offer only. If team members can’t make any of the sessions, that’s OK. Each session stands alone. They’ll still get the tool and summary sent to them. The sessions aren’t recorded and the summary isn’t shared with anyone but the team.

What’s the process?

  • Book a call with me and we’ll talk about the team and the worries and hopes you have.

  • I send an intro video to your team and arrange a regular time when they can all commit to a meeting.

  • The regular reflection series is set up and off we go.

  • The PDF tool is sent after each session, along with summary notes, that can include additional resources and links depending on the conversation. The summary is sent only to the team.

  • At the end of the 6 weeks, a full workbook with all the tools and additional references is sent to the whole group.

Reflection is a powerful tool that wise and grounded leaders use regularly.

Committing time and attention to this habit can be hard in the midst of everything else you are doing.

Reflection sustains and develops you, it keeps you grounded and continually developing. Regular reflection will Increase your confidence, your ability to manage despite the complexity and a tool to pass on to your team and those you support

People who reflect regularly for 15 minutes every day add 23% to their productivity.

I’m evolving this as a public offering if you’d like to be the first to be offered a place.
